Ven Subramanian, who owns and manages Sherwood, has over 12 years of diverse corporate finance, operational and entrepreneurial experience and is based in Los Angeles and Bangalore.

Prior to starting Sherwood, Ven was Chief Financial Officer of an international apparel company based in Los Angeles. Ven has advised US based companies in corporate finance, restructuring and business continuity as well as assisting them in obtaining equity and secured debt financing.

Ven primarily assists companies in fund raising, private placement and listing of Indian Private Limited companies on the US, UK, German stock exchanges. He also oversees investments in early and mid stage companies for Private Equity funds and VC firms.
Ven holds an MBA in Finance from Arizona State University and has completed advanced doctoral level Finance and Tax courses at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
